Moira Gerety

Moira Gerety

Director, Project Management, for Information Technologies (IT) at UNM

Moira Gerety has an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at The University of New Mexico.

Moira Gerety joined UNM in 2005.

Ms. Gerety came to Higher Education after working as the Chief Information Officer for the State of New Mexico. She also served in various IT, business and consulting capacities for PNM, the largest utility in New Mexico; Digital Equipment Corporation, and Sunsoft, among others.

Ms. Gerety has served on various public sector boards and commissions such as the New Mexico IT Commission (chair), the Information Systems Committee for the City of Albuquerque, and the Information Technology Advisory Committee for Albuquerque Public Schools. She is fluent in Spanish, has various certifications in production and inventory management and has been Q cleared.

Tammy Jo Martinez

Tammy Jo Martinez

Director, Customer Services, for Information Technologies (IT) at UNM

Tammy Jo has a Masters of Public Administration from UNM, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management of Information Systems from the Anderson School of Management, UNM.

Tammy Jo has an extensive background in IT project management and oversight, most recently with the New Mexico Department of Health, she has also worked at the CNM Community College, UNM Valencia Campus, and WICK Communications.

Steve Perry

Steve Perry

Director, Networks, for Information Technologies (IT) at UNM

Steve has worked in the Communications and Information Technology field since 1985. He has a Master's Degree in IS, and many vendor and industry certifications in Voice, Networks, Network Design, and Network Security.

Prior to UNM, Steve led many diverse communications/network teams during his military career, taught Cisco Network Academy courses at Central New Mexico Community College (where he continues to teach part time), led a Network/Voice Team with a large Health Care organization, and most recently served as a Systems Engineer for Cisco Systems, Inc.

Steve manages the voice and data networks for the University. This responsibility includes the fiber/cable plant facilities, and fire and security alarms over the network.
