IT Projects

To enable UNM to deliver on its core education, research, clinical and administrative missions, to respond to audit findings and to keep UNM IT current with industry standards and best practices, initiatives are underway in IT during the current fiscal year. Many key objectives consist of projects with milestones that will extend into future years. In a constrained economic climate, IT can be counted on to bring excellent return on investment.


IT Dashboard 2013

IT continually receives input and feedback on our projects and services from our primary campus stakeholders, UNM's faculty, staff and students.

The IT dashboard this year is grouped into areas of strategic focus that align with these customer groups. The deliverables identified in the dashboard do not represent all projects in IT, nor the work supporting all IT services provided. The deliverables also may only be milestones in longer-range projects that extend beyond this fiscal year.

The projects are identified by IT Director because they support critical success factors in improving IT services to these constituent groups. The Directors can be contacted for supplementary information on these, and other projects and services delivered by IT.

President Frank has identified Enterprise Email, Calendar and Messaging, and a single UNM Identity as the highest IT priority endeavor. For more information about this multi-year initiative see the Email pages of the Initiatives section. The Main Campus project to convert Webmail and GroupWise users to LoboMail is listed below in section #3.
