UNM IT, Human Resources, and Payroll announced the implementation of Two-Factor Authentication from DUO Security for enhanced protection of your direct deposit account information. The implementation is scheduled for Wednesday, March 30.

DUO adds another level of protection to your personal data by requiring another form of authentication in addition to your NetID and password, by way of a phone call or text message in order to make changes to your account.

DUO is replacing paper forms required by the Payroll Office to make changes to direct deposit allocation (setup and bank changes).

DUO has a self-enrollment process you complete after logging in to LoboWeb.

The second factor authentication provides additional protection that will make your direct deposit information much more secure from potential hacking attempts.

Please see FastInfo Answer #7456 for detailed information and an enrollment video.
