IT CSS Service Desk

The IT Service Desk is the University's central support organization for IT services and computer-related issues.


  • Call us at (505) 277-5757 (See hours of operation)
  • To report emergency, unplanned outages that occur after hours choose option #3. This will allow you to leave a message for on-call staff. Please check the IT Availability Schedule and IT Alerts websites before calling.


Help.UNM is UNM's central online help request system. Submit requests for assistance and track the status of tickets submitted.

Self Help Options

In Person Support

NetID and Password Changes

For your security, the IT Service Desk offers NetID and Password changes on a walk-in basis at 802 Yale Boulevard on UNM's north campus. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday (except Holidays).

Laptop Support

Troubleshooting and technical support for personal laptops is provided by appointment only at the Lobo BrainBar. Please call the IT Service Desk to schedule an appointment. The Lobo BrainBar is open NOON - 5 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday.
