Getting the Tools

UNM IT Academic Technologies provides centralized technology support for classrooms and computer labs, and online tools for teaching and learning such as UNM Canvas (Learning Management System), Zoom web conferencing, and Kaltura lecture capture / streaming media.

Getting Instructional Support

The Center for Teaching and Learning provides training, one-on-one consultations, and a variety of support resources to help you succeed online and in the classroom. Check out the workshops, expert advice and consultation, and student support and tutoring services they offer.

The Library provides a wide range of instruction support services including online tutorials, digital learning objects, and support for adding reserves to online class environments.

At the Health Sciences Center, the Office of Medical Educator Development (OMED)  guides and supports the professional development and advancement of medical educators in the UNM School of Medicine.

Getting Local Help

Most colleges and departments have local IT support that can provide specialized support for teaching and learning activities.

Main and Branch Campus users can contact (505) 277-5757 for more information about departmental IT support. 

While many services are available to both main campus and Health Sciences Center users, Health Sciences Center provides specialized support through the Office of the Health Sciences Center CIO.
