To enable UNM to deliver on its core education, research, clinical and administrative missions, to respond to audit findings and to keep UNM IT current with industry standards and best practices, initiatives are underway in IT during the current fiscal year. Many key objectives consist of projects with milestones that will extend into future years. In a constrained economic climate, IT can be counted on to bring excellent return on investment.
Find the current status of major technology projects at the IT Dashboard.
Before IT work becomes a technology project, the project is defined, classified, risk factor assessed and then must be reviewed and approved at, and by, key leadership gatekeepers. IT projects are grouped and prioritized into areas that are aligned with the President's goals and then measured.
