Computer Pods & Classrooms

IT manages eight computer pods (or labs) and 13 computer classrooms around main campus. All are open to all UNM students, faculty and staff. All locations are equipped with different hardware and software and have their own hours. Your Lobo ID is required to print in IT pods and classrooms. Pods are staffed by Student Consultants who are trained to answer general computing questions.

Services for the Disabled
All IT pods have adjustable work areas for customers and some pods are equipped with special work areas that provide easier access to a computer. All Macintosh computers have screen enlargement capabilities and voice output is available on software that supports that function. Both Macintosh and Windows computers have "sticky key" capabilities. More specific services and equipment are available at the Accessibility Resource Center, 2021 Mesa Vista Hall (north side), 277.3506.

Note: IT facilities may be used only for furthering the education, research and public service mission of the University and may not be used for commercial purposes or profit-making.
